Feb 08, 2026: Our paper "Chen, C., Wang, W., Zhong, X., Deng, C., Lu, Y., Zhang, W., Chen, C.*, Shi, F.* (2026). Real-world deployment of deep reinforcement learning-based control for cost-efficient PM2.5 mitigation in a naturally ventilated multi-room residence." has been accepted by Journal of Hazardous Materials. This is a collaborative research with Prof. Chen Chen from Xiamen University.

Jan 06, 2026: Prof. Chun Chen received research funding from Environment and Conservation Fund (ECF): "Turning waste glass into radiative cooling paint for low-carbon cooling in industrial buildings in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area", No. 109/2025, HK$500,000, 08/2026 – 07/2028.

Jan 01, 2026: Prof. Chun Chen serves as Co-I of Shenzhen Key Industries R&D Plan "Z20258008 research and development of key technologies for colony detection and intelligent early warning system. No. ZDCY20250901110303004, RMB3,000,000, 01/2026 to 12/2027." funded by Science, Technology and Innovation Commission of Shenzhen Municipality (STIC) and led by Dr. Ping Gong from Shenzhen People's Hospital.

Dec 03, 2025: Our Chinese patent "Chen, C., Niu, Z., Bian, Y., Zhang, L. Electrospinning method for fabricating nanofiber air filter with minimized pressure drop" has been granted (ZL 2022 1 0576055.1).​
